Khachkar Armenian ÃÂáùÃâáÃâ¬, literally ââ¬Åcross-stoneââ¬Â is a type of Armenian architectural monuments and shrines [1], which is a stone stele with a carved image of the cross. The word khachkar is formed from the Armenian roots ââ¬Åkhachââ¬Â - ââ¬Åcrossââ¬Â, and ââ¬Åkarââ¬Â - ââ¬Åstoneââ¬Â.In November 2010, the art of creating khachkars with the wording ââ¬ÅSymbols and craftsmanship of khachkars, Armenian stone crossesââ¬Â was included in the representative list of UNESCO on the intangible cultural heritage of mankind.
